In the role of Production & Design Engineer you will focus on reading technical documentation, preparing projects for production and provide support during assembly.

Job description:
As a Production & Design Engineer you are responsible for the project-oriented engineering of finished and semi-finished products (including castings). You will be involved in drawing products within policy lines and in accordance with the purchase order and technical, mostly international, specifications.
You identify bottlenecks (among other things of a product-technical nature) and devise solutions for this. In addition, you are the point of contact for the production and project department, you manage technical and administrative revisions and correctly process them in an ERP system.
The position is located in Appingedam, The Netherlands.

Requirements:
• Associate's/Bachelor degree on technical level, such as Mechanical Engineering;
• Experience with pressure-holding parts or piping is a plus;
• Experience with and knowledge of ERP systems;
• Knowledge of 3D drawing package Inventor is a must, knowledge of AutoCad and Vault is a plus;
• Knowledge of production and manufacturing;
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic controls;
• Basic materials knowledge;
• Good command of the English language, both orally and in writing.
