• Stop Coordinator PD Poly/Recovery

We are looking for a Stop Coordinator for 40 hours per week at Teijin Aramid in Delfzijl. As a Stop Coordinator PD, you will be involved in preparing, planning, and coordinating/organizing shutdowns and (production) activities for maintenance/project shutdowns (from a production perspective in the broadest sense) and supervising operators regarding shutdown-related activities. • Drafting start-up and stop schedules for production installations so that it is clear what needs to be done, when it will take place, and who is responsible for the execution.
• Making the expected production loss transparent based on the execution schedule and contributing to its optimization.
• Developing start-up and shutdown plans per section and/or area so that it is clear how things should be done. This includes safety instructions, flushing plans, drainage schedules, rescue plans, etc.

Role and department

In Delfzijl, around 350 technicians, process technologists, and operators work together daily on producing the raw material for our successful product Twaron. Firstly, the monomers PPD and TDC are produced here. These monomers are then combined in a closed complex process to create a unique aramid polymer. In a separate installation, solvents are recovered for reuse. After drying, the polymer is packaged and transported to Teijin Aramid's other major production site in Emmen, where it is spun into Twaron.
The role involves coordinating and executing various tasks related to installations, including takeover, adjustment, securing, releasing for maintenance/projects, starting up, and transferring to production. Additionally, you're responsible for coordinating and assigning maintenance and cleaning tasks to both production staff and contractors, monitoring planning and scope, and resolving any issues that may arise. Furthermore, you oversee the work permit process and collaborate with operatives to ensure a safe working environment. You're also involved in drafting and implementing test and startup plans to operationalize the factories according to schedule.

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you should have work experience in a technical environment in the process industry related to coordinating activities.

• Bachelor level of education.
• Completed VAPRO C training or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• You are precise, disciplined, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• You can plan and coordinate effectively while maintaining oversight.
• You are resilient to stress and remain a team player in all circumstances.
