• Process Operator

As a process operator, you will oversee and manage the production process in one of our chemical factories, ensuring that the output meets quality, quantity, environmental, and safety standards efficiently. You will independently troubleshoot issues and conduct process checks. You will work in 5 shift rotations at our location in Delfzijl. Does this excite you? • Independently troubleshooting process issues.
• Performing troubleshooting analyses and analyzing process controls.
• Carrying out logistical tasks related to raw materials, additives, and finished products.
• Providing written reports on shift handovers, issues, and projects.
• Participating in project working groups focused on safety, environment, quality, and efficiency.

Role and department

The shifts consist of 6 colleague operators with whom you'll manage the daily operation of the plants. Additionally, you'll support the departments of projects, technology, maintenance, and QHSE with various tasks in the factory. Of course, you'll receive thorough training from our practical instructors and colleagues for this.

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you should have completed Operator-B or C, process technique, or AOT (level 4) education, and have an affinity for the chemical industry. Additionally, you should identify with the following skills:

• Excellent communication skills (customer-oriented).
• Flexibility and focus on both process technical and organizational improvement.
• Ability to collaborate constructively with various disciplines.
• Proactive attitude towards safety and environmental matters.
• Results-oriented and cost-conscious.

Our offer

• A salary of up to €4125 gross per month. The classification is based on your experience. Additionally, you will receive a 32.6% shift allowance.
• 20 vacation days per year and an additional 24 leave days as Personal Choice Budget, which you can use as vacation days or have paid out; a total of 44 leave days on a full-time basis.
• We offer a pleasant work/life balance, a competitive salary, and good secondary benefits such as 8.33% holiday pay, a competitive pension with a low personal contribution, profit sharing between 0 and 10%, and flexible working hours.
